21st January 2010, Brighton, United Kingdom

By recently placing 17th at MLG Orlando our Halo 3 team reaffirmed their status as the number one team outside of America, however after the event one of our team, Jack Baxter, decided to leave the side. Whilst Baxter has gone on loan to fragmasters, we have decided to strengthen our squad with the addition of the upcoming star Demon "F0xy G" Jones. Denom was recently voted Player to watch for 2010 by the Halo3Forum Community and we're expecting big things from him in the coming season as we look to attain professional status at MLG. Denom's debut is expected to be at either the next MLG stop or Multiplay i39.

He had the following to say about the move:
"I couldn't have asked to join a better team, and to be approached by them is like a dream. I don' t plan to let Power, my teammates or myself down. #1 EU all year."

2nd January 2010, Brighton, United Kingdom

With 2010 expected to be a good year for console gaming, we've decided that we should strengthen our Xbox 360 roster by dabbling in the waters of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2! After their qualification for the Gamestop finals we have decided that we should do this with the addition of Validus.4D who outperformed 720 other teams to earn themselves a spot at the finals in North America to compete for $10,000! Whilst the location is yet to be revealed, it is rumoured that it will take place at the first MLG 2010 stop in Las Vegas. You will also be able to see the team in action at any other events announced in the first quarter of 2010.

With the resurgance of ESWC and the game being a mainstay in the World Cyber Games, Power Gaming have decided to move into another title, this time being Trackmania Nations with the pickup of a team which includes the current WCG World Champion! The former Rostock Vikings team will now be representing Power Gaming where we hope they will continue their recent successes, with star player Karjen winning WCG 2009, Dreamhack Summer 09 and Winter 08, with other notable performances coming from PeZi and Fruit who placed 4th & 5th respectively at WCG, and Ghooost who placed 5th at ESWC, whilst the rest of the team are upcoming talents who we hope will blossom in the coming season. We have not yet finished expanding our lineup so you may see some more announcements in the coming days and we look forward to competing throughout next season!

29th October 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

This weekend Power Gaming will be in attendance at the Eurogamer Expo, Old Billingsgate, London in partnership with Nvidia and SteelSeries. Ben Woodward, Luke Cotton, Henry "HenryG" Greer and James "wilzOO" Wilson will all be in attendance on the Nvidia stand, where the public will be able to "play against the pro" in order to win products from our sponsors SteelSeries, so if you're at the event then make sure you head over to meet our players and to win some prizes!

Yet again Power Gaming can announce our expansion into another title, with Ben Andrews and Dan Bellis putting pen to paper to represent us in FIFA 2010. The pair recently departed from Team Infused and have a host of impressive results behind them, with Ben winning the UKeSA Championship, placing 3rd at Multiplay i36 and top8 at the EA Meet Your Match Finals, whilst Dan returns from inactivity before which he placed 3rd at Multiplay i35.

The pair are currently waiting for upcoming competitions to be announced, but you'll be sure to see them competing at all the major events throughout the next season.

25th October 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

Once again Power Gaming have strengthened our roster with the signing of the top Call of Duty 4 team high5, formally known as eSuba. After recently winning both the eSports Heaven Raptor Rage and Sapphire Cups, and with a host of offline acheivements including placing 3rd at The eXperience and 2nd at LAN79, it was obvious that this lineup would make a great addition to Power Gaming and we are pleased that they have accepted our offer to represent us.

The team will be making their debut at the ASUS World GameMaster Tournament in Brno, Czech Republic on November 5-6th, and then will be attending Multiplay i38, UK, assuming that Nikolai "Mazarini" Lazarev is granted a visa enabling him to attend.

21st October 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

After recently adding a number of teams it is now time for us to announce our first roster change with the addition Lasse "stingeR" Midtstue to our CounterStrike: Source line-up. Lasse, a familiar face to both HenryG and hudzG with who he played in TCM, joins us from MultiGamer straight after coming 3rd at the Hellfragger.no LAN finals last weekend.

He joins us due to a loss in motivation by Richard "ritch" Gibbs, who has decided to stop playing active CounterStrike: Source, although he will remain on our roster as our 6th man. You will be able to see our new roster in action at Multiplay i38.

11th October 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

In light of Multiplay's upcoming i38 event next month, again we can announce new additions to the Power Gaming roster, both of which will be competing at that event. Gears of War and Battlefield 2 come as our newest additions with the signing of the former Affliction team (GoW) and the YoYo--Tech BF2 squad.

Affliction contains a host of promising young talent who are cited as the only team capable of taking down Dignitas, whilst YoYo--Tech rest at the top of the Battlefield scene and are confident of transforming their online success to LAN.

29th September 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

Today we are able to announce another addition to our organization, with the former Crack Clan Team Fortress 2 team also making the move to Power Gaming. The side have asserted themselves as one of the top teams in Europe over the past 12 months and as such we are looking forward to having them represent us at Multiplay i38. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more announcements coming soon!

20th September 2009, Brighton, United Kingdom

Power Gaming can announce today a fresh start for all those concerned with Crack Clan, as after a lengthy partnership between the two came to an end this next step was inevitable: with the launch of Power Gaming as a professional Esport team. The organization will be spearheaded by Ben Woodward and Luke Cotton, who both chose to leave Crack Clan to pursue this new project with the backing of a private investor.

"Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone associated with Crack Clan for the fantastic time we all had there, and it certainly won't be forgotten in a hurry" stated the pair. "But as one project ends a new one is created, and this time we have set our goals even higher than before and have all the drive and motivation required to achieve what only a handful of UK teams have done down the years and become a dominant force in the Esport world."

However without players we would be nothing, and as such we are excited to welcome a host of talented players who will be joining us on this adventure. One such team is the former cc// Halo3 team who will be porting over to Power Gaming after asserting their dominance over the European scene in the past few months. With two of the former players joining up with SK Gaming following the closure of the pro section in cc// we find ourselves with 2 new members, who are both former team mates of the BUK twins!

Along with Halo 3 the newly revamped cc // CounterStrike 1.6 line-up will also be representing us. After a troubled few months the team have now found the best possible line-up, a line up that contains players who have achieved many great things over the last 12 months in the international 1.6 scene and have our full support.

Last but by no means least we would like to welcome a fresh team into the organisation. It contains a familiar face in Richard "ritch" Gibbs and he is joined by 4 of the top players in the UK to represent us in CounterStrike: Source. We thoroughly believe that this team has the potential to assert itself as one of the top teams in Europe over the coming months.

Our new Esport portal will be live in time for Multiplay i38 this November, where we will have a strong attendance for our official launch. We're looking at sending our teams to some events prior to this, so stay tuned for announcements on this and also on more player additions. This is just the beginning.
