Power Gaming

You'll have noticed on our website that we've decided not to publish any scene news - that's because we're focused on bringing you the things that you want to hear. We'll be providing interesting original content and information about our players and teams so that you can get to know them all a little better, and pick up some tips and tricks along the way, as well as delving into the Esports background that you don't normally have the chance to read about.

The first way we're going to do this is through a new feature that we're reviving from the days of working for London Mint in The CGS: All About Power. Each week we'll be asking our players a short question about anything and everything, and we'll post their answers up every Monday. If you have anything general that you want to know (that we can ask everybody, maybe you want to know their favourite foods?), or any ideas for other content that you'd like to see on the website then please let us know in the comments!

For Week One we thought it would be appropriate to ask our players "What is your favourite website?"

paradox-: At this moment, my favourite website is definitly our website - powergaming.com. There's no reason why I'd put any other website here! Clean design, only team news, team blogs ... awesome. Im sure everyone will like it with a few more features which will be in the final version.

BUK 57: My favourite website would have to be Twitter.com! No big surprise to my followers on there, it's just a great way for me to talk to friends, give out information to fans and or players in the community. It's my main source of information for events, LAN's, team changes, and even my main source for general news around the world! And I've talked to many people on Twitter who I go on to meet at events at MLG or ECL so its a good way to talk to and get to know people in the community and even other communities like the MLG one. So that's why it's my favourite website.

plastE: www.facebook.com, do I have to even explain? :D

FrosteR: My favourite website is TEK-9.org because its THE website for COD4, it has all the news and the forums are very active, the downside of this is that there are a number of really sad people who constantly try to troll the forums because they think its cool, but apart from that, I think the website is very well ran.

kyynel: I have to say that one of my favorite website is http://vanillatf2.org/.
The page just gives you a fast gossip about team fortress 2 but also upcoming matches and other community news, really great if you want to follow tf2.

MVP: Probably www.mlgpro.com. Simply because it has all the info I'll ever need regarding upcoming events, and there\'s always a new article or two or three on the front page every time I check. Not to mention the huge amount of VoD available.

natu: My favorite website would have to be www.jatkoaika.com. It´s basically a Finnish ice hockey site that has interesting articles and a well functioning forum. For a big hockey fan like myself, it gives great coverage on everything hockeyrelated.

Moose: http://nerfnow.com/ - A good gaming related webcomic. Cute and funny stuff about TF2, StarCraft and so on. Don't know if it's my favourite site, but at least something that others might enjoy as well. And if it had strips about Quake, it would cover all three of my favourite e-sports games :D

hocz: vanillatf2.org - everything that's going on in tf2 scene can be found
here easily. It's updated on a daily basis and is simple enough even for a Finn to understand.

tihOp: ampparit.com or riemurasia.net
Ampparit is some kinda Newsportal site which collects all the links from like almost every news site there is out and gives you the hyperlinks for the most voted news and so on, of course it´s only for Finnish people but it deals with the international hot topics as well. So I like to know "what´s going on" in this world and like to read all kinda news from sports to politics.
Riemurasia is an entertainment site where people can post their funny videos, pictures and for example some hilarious irc-logs etc. So if I get bored and don´t feel like doing nothing then I might just browse this site for a while =) Here´s a good one for all fo you: http://www.riemurasia.net/jylppy/media.php?id=71182 :DD
